What are implementation tools?

PSSP has adopted the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) implementation model as a guiding framework. This framework relies on the assumption that effective implementation of effective, innovative solutions leads to positive outcomes for clients.

At PSSP, our implementation process is informed by the Active Implementation Frameworks developed by the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN). This framework encourages planning for implementation in four stages (although it’s rarely a linear process)! The following tools and resources are meant to support the distinct goals and activities of each stage:

Exploration: decide what will work

NIRN’s hexagon tool can help your team consider your options and select the program or practice best suited to your unique challenges and context. NIRN’s practice profile tool and methodology can help your team sufficiently define your new practice for effective implementation.
