What is the system challenge?

The concept of ‘peers’ and ‘lived experience’ are not well known within the context of French-speaking services in Toronto, however there is general interest within these groups to learn from and apply these concepts to service provision.

What are we doing about it?

  • Peer Positive will be adapted for use with French Language services and piloted with two French Language organizations in Toronto.
  • Pre-existing capacity-building training for people with lived experience will be provided to help support the project.
